Gunby Hall and gardens will echo to the sound of classic motor vehicles this weekend when it becomes the Lincolnshire destination on national ‘Drive Your Classic Car Day’.

From 11am on Sunday (April 21) visitors to the hall will get the chance to admire the lovely classic cars parked in the site’s regular car park and also on their formal drive.

The event is being organised by the Lincolnshire MG Car Owners Group.

Those looking to take their classic car on the social drive to the hall can do so for just £6 per car, including all passengers.

There will also be a Treasure Hunt in the grounds and “Landlord’s Choice” style Pride of Ownership.

Drives will start from Boston, King’s Lynn, Lincoln, Swallow & Caenby Corner.

“National Drive Your Classic Day” was originally conceived to encourage owners of older cars to get out and drive them.

The MG Car Club event always includes Classic Cars and MGs of all ages so whatever you drive, so pop along and enjoy what organisers promise will be a great day at Gunby Hall.

The hall recently opened a first floor corridor and two more bedrooms. Normal admission charges apply for regular visitors.
