Christmas just wouldn’t be complete without a visit to see a truly magical pantomime complete with costume, drama, romance and booing for the nasties.
And this year the Skegness panto promises all this and much more when Cinderella hits the town.
Jamie Marcus Productions will be presenting the most-loved panto of all, starring several famous faces - from Sue Hodge of Allo Allo, and Nasty Nick of Big Brother fame, to Helen Bates, a television presenter at Bid TV, among others.
And to kick-start, the run up to rehearsals, Helen Bates, set to star as Cinderella, who is doomed to drudgery by her stepsisters, dropped by the Embassy Theatre to chat about her excitement. She said: “I’m so excited to be starring in one of the best loved pantos of them all. It’s an amazing cast and the audience will be in for a beautiful tale as well as some fun along the way. Pantomimes really do bring stories to life and inspire magic at Christmas.”
