Spilsby Theatre is set to play host to “Caratinga - The Music of Brazil” - this weekend.
Caratinga are an acoustic band playing ssamba/choro music.
“Comprised of vocalist Leandra Varanda, mandolin player Anselmo Netto, guitarist Jonathan Preiss, cavaquinho (Brazilian ukulele) player/violinist Felipe Karam, clarinettist Idris Rahman and percussionist Adriano Adewale, Caratinga play some originals and others by composers such as Chico Buarque and Ary Barroso,” said a spokesperson.
The concert will be held on Saturday, September 21 at 8pm.
