Christmas may still be two months away but now is definitely the time to begin thinking about your office Christmas party.

Many top local eateries and bars have already begun advertising their festive party dates.

And if you don’t want to miss out on grabbing your ideal venue and date then it is vital to shop around now.

The office Christmas party is one of the biggest and mos t popular events of the business calendar, and the early bird most definitely catches the worm if you are looking to secure the perfect party.

There really is no need to be caught out - keep your eyes peeled in local newspapers and in hotel/bar windows for crackign Christmas deals.

There is also plenty of variety around-about.

If you’re after a lively venue with plenty of dancing, why not get in touch with one of the area’s many dance bars and clubs.

They will almost all be offering a variety of party packages this season.

If you’re after something a little more sedate then there are also a wide array of top local eateries, restaurants and bars dotted around local towns and surrounding countryside.

Everything from Turkish to Italian, and traditional bar food to fine cuisine can be found in the local area.

So get that thinking cap on - do you want mouth-watering turkey with all the trimmings, or maybe you’d prefer to jazz things up a bit by dropping the festive food and going with some non-traditional treats instead. Whatever you decide you’ll find plenty of venues that will cater for you.

Of course, the office party isnt just about food. You’ll also want to look around for suitable entertainment. Many venues throw in music for the perfect party - but you may wish to consider keeping your meal and party separate by stopping off for a meal and then heading to an entertainment venue like a club or the theatre.
