Snipe Dales bushcraft sessions draw near
Youngsters hoping to take part on a special bushcraft course at a local nature reserve only have a couple of weeks left before the first session gets underway.
The Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust is set to run its latest Bushcraft Club at the Snipe Dales reserve west of Spilsby after being inspired by the success of similar courses in the Lincoln area. The sessions are open to ages eight to 16-years only.
The five sessions in this year’s course - which will be spread throughout 2013 - get underway on February 22 from 11am to 2pm. Subsequent sessions will run on April 5, May 31, August 28 and October 25.
“Join our instructors as we lead you though the bushcraft arts of shelter building, fire lighting and much more,” said a spokesperson.
“In our Woodland Classroom we will experience the woods as the seasons change with Bushcraft Club,” they added.
Please contact the Whisby Education Team for booking and further details on 01522 696926.
Entry to the courses is £50 for all five sessions.
