Proms fans in for a treat at show

FANS of the Proms are in for a treat when a ‘Last Night of the Proms’ concert is held in Skegness this weekend.

The Last Night of the Proms show will take place in the Embassy Theatre on Sunday, September 30 from 7.30pm, compered by BBC Radio Lincolnshire’s Howard Leder.

“Settle back with the massed bands of Lincolnshire Brass as they provide the music for a great patriotic evening, under the baton of Steve Walker,” said a spokesperson.

“The event will include the Lincoln Sounds Ladies Barbershop Chorus, The Scunthorpe & District Pipe & Drum Band and also a special guest from London’s West End - guitarist Andy Gammon.

“The evening will also include your chance to join in with all your traditional ‘Proms’ favourites,” they added.

Tickets cost £13.50 for adults, £12.50 for over 60s and £7.50 for children.
