TWO local nature reserves will host activities for youngsters over the coming week.

Tomorrow (Thursday) the Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve will hold its latest Tadpole Toddler Group session from 10am to 11.30am.

These events offer fun wildlife activites for under fives, such as crafts, story-telling and nature walks.

They are £2 per child. Call 01754 898057 to book.

Then, on Sunday (October 7), the Snipe Dales Nature Reserve will hold a Bushcraft Taster Day from 11am to 2pm.

The bushcraft is for eight to 16-year-olds only and will take place entirely outdoors.

Advance booking is essential.
