Dickens’ Christmas classic undertakes a novel twist

East Lincolnshire Art's Farmer Scrooge's Christmas Carol will be performing at St Paul's Patist Church in Skegness on Friday.

A village comedy reworking of Charles Dickens’ classic Christmas tale of Ebeneezer Scrooge and his miserly ways will be performing in Skegness this Friday.

Arts charity East Lincolnshire Arts has invited the Badapple Theatre Company to perform their novel twist on the traditional tale at St Paul’s Baptist Church in Skegness from 7.30pm.

ELA chairman Graham Payne said:: “The story is told with carolsd, puppets, mayhem, original songs and a warm feel-good factor for Christmas.”

The play is suitable for all ages and tickets are available by calling 01754 765645 costing £9 for adults and £3 for children.

The play has been sponsored by East Lindsey District Council and Arts Council England.
