Chas & Dave postpone tonight’s Skegness show

Popular pub singalong duo Chas & Dave have postponed tonight’s Skegness show due to ill health.

The pioneers of ‘rockney’ music were due to perform at the Embassy Theatre tonight but have had to reschedule after Chas lost his voice.

A statement on their Facebook page says: “It’s with great regret that Chas & Dave have had to postpone tonight’s show in Skegness as Chas has lost his voice.

He was having difficulties towards the end of last night’s show and today his condition worsened.

“Huge apologies to all who were going tonight and we will be re-scheduling the show for later in the year - your tickets for tonight will of course be valid for the new date.

“Chas is currently being treated and should be fine for tomorrow and Sunday’s shows.”
