Busy time at Gibraltar Point site
GIBRALTAR Point Nature Reserve is set for a busy few days this week.
Tomorrow (Thursday) the centre will host a Tadpole Toddler Group session for unders fives from 10am to 11.30am.
The sessions include activities like crafts, story-telling and nature watches and cost £2 per child.
Then on Saturday, September 8 the site will hold a ‘Waterbirds of Gibraltar Point’ event from 8.30am to 11am.
“Join our bird expert to discover more about which water birds make Gibraltar Point their home,” said the spokesperson.
The event is £2 for adults and £1 per child.
And on Sunday, September 9 the centre will hold a six-hour Macro Photography Workshop from 10am to 4pm.
“This is a new workshop date due to popular demand,” said a spokesperson.
“It is a perfect chance to improve your macro photography with award winning photographer Paul Hobson.
“Working with plants, insects and reptiles this course will allow you to create the perfect close up shot of the natural world,” they added.
The session is £45. Booking is essential.
