EDITOR - The Boots store is attached to the Beacon Park Medical Practice in Churchill Avenue, Skegness is 'manned' by a staff of six at any one time.
They are so professional in everything they do, considering that the practice has some 22,000 patients on its list, and while maybe not all of them use Boots on site for their prescriptions, I think there is nothing easier than walking out of the sur
gery door and walking ten paces into the chemists for your prescription.

The wonderful people who work there always seem happy in their work.
Of course, a lot of patients phone in repeat requests to the surgery which, after the signature of a GP, are passed over to Boots.

I am sure we are not alone, but both my wife and myself are 'life term' patients, and although the surgery/store will tell you your order will be ready in 36 hours, from personal experience it is often less than that.

I have written to Boots some time ago, but they didn't seem interested in my letter.

A little research reveals that, pro-rata, the Beacon Park pharmacy is the busiest in the county, if not the country.

At this time of year, with 'goodwill to all men' (and in this case, women), they deserve a mention.

Wishing you and your staff a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
