EDITOR - I fear that the accident toll on the A52 will rise as the new speed limits come into force.
There are so many changes, 13 different speed limit changes between Skegness and the roundabout at Pilgrim Hospital, 12 from Wrangle to that roundabout.

Drivers will be so confused by the speed limits that they will not be concentrating on their driving and what is occurring on the road.

There is also the question of the cost of all the new signs. I seem to remember someone once telling me that it costs about £1,000 each to put up road signs.

Even if this cost applies to two of the smaller 50 repeaters the amount needed for the whole stretch of the road from Skegness to Boston must be horrendous.

There has been no notification that I have seen of the changes of speed limit in Leverton, Benington, the extended 30mph in Wrangle or of the new changes on the A52.

I guarantee that all the speed cameras will be in full working order when the speed limits are fully in force, and the 'stealth' cars and motorcycle will be all over the area.
