EDITOR - I would like to express my concerns over the shambles of the new speed limits on the A52 Skegness to Boston.
I travelled from Boston to Skegness and was completely confused at the speed limits in a number of places.

A lot of signs have been replaced with new ones and a number of those are covered up with black bags or simply sprayed out.

This was d
one when Lincolnshire County Council engineers put up the signs. From Wrangle to Wainfleet I noticed all the signs were sprayed out and there were no signs informing you of the current speed limit. This was repeated in a number of places on the A52.

I think it is about time someone from the Highways authority drives from the Pilgrim hospital and into Skegness and just observes what a complete and utter shambles it is.
Some people are travelling at 40, some 50 and some 60.

Can't someone just get it sorted out as it is so confusing and this has been ongoing for a couple of weeks now?
Surely if the speed limit is being changed it would be done in complete sections, not remove the old signs and put up new ones, only then to either spray them out or cover them up with bags.

At this moment in time, I feel the Highways authority have made the A52 more dangerous than it was before due to speed limits not being properly displayed and people not knowing what the speed limit should be.
