Saturday - VIVA Skeg Vegas will see the return of hundreds of Volkswagen vehicles as they line up for one of the best VW events of the year.
The event will take place at the X-Site Skate Park, Skegness, on Saturday, May 17, and is strictly for VW vehicles only.

It has been organised by VW enthusiast Toby Walker, in partnership with the skate park. All proceeds raised will go to the park.

Toby said: "We should have some of the top show cars from the UK turning up.

"After the success of last year's event, word has got around so there should be some nice vehicles.

"They tend to be classic VWs, but it is open to any VW."

There will be lots of fun on offer from a show and shine when the cars and vans will be shown off in all their shiny chrome glory, to live bands, graffitti demonstrations and skating, of course.

Live bands will entertain the crowds and there will be VW parts and merchandise on sale, a bouncy castle, a charity raffle with VW-themed prizes, and plenty of refreshments.

There will be a £3 charge on the gate for anyone wishing to take part, and people on foot are welcome.

X-Site is offering a discounted entry fee of £5 for the whole day for people who want to skate or BMX.

The event will begin at 10am and is expected to last until about 5pm.
