Sunday - A WILDLIFE taster weekend will be held at Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve, Skegness, between August 8 and 10.

The weekend will involve a variety of sessions, run by local experts, which will introduce a range of wildlife from bats and moths to the creatures that could be lurking in your garden pond.

It is ideal for both beginners and enthusiasts who are keen to discover more about local wildlife.

The programme includes moth trapping and identification, pond dipping, plant identification, an introduction to bats, bird spotting and identification, and sea dipping for marine animals.

It is a residential weekend, and will cost £130 including full board and accommodation in single, twin and larger rooms.

For further information or to book a place, contac the reserve on 01754 898079.
