Tuesday, 9.33am - A HOST of top names will be appearing at the 10th annual Lincoln Book Festival, to be held between Friday, May 9, and Sunday, May 18.

The BBC's Hairy Bikers and Tony Blair's former spin-doctor Alistair Campbell are among those due to appear at the festival.

Lincolnshire's own celebrity chef Rachel Green will champion all manner of home-grown culinary delights, and playwright and author Steven

Berkoff will give an insight into his new book My Life in Food.

There will be talks by mystery writers, best-selling authors, gardening experts and comedians, providing something to suit all tastes.

There will also be a celebration of Mills and Boon's 100th anniversary, workshops, poetry readings, a full children's programme and much more.

The event has been organised by the City of Lincoln Council in partnership with the Lincolnshire Echo, Lincolnshire County Council, BookStart and other partners and funders.
