Monday, 10.20am - A DIAMOND ball celebrating the 60th anniversary of Marie Curie Cancer Care will take place at The Petwood Hotel in Woodhall Spa on Friday June 6 from 7pm-2am.

'Diamonds are Forever' is the theme and the ball is for everyone in Lincolnshire who would like to celebrate 60 years of the charity and look forward to the next 60 years.

The ball will have all the usual activities including a firework display, an auction, a casino, professional vocalist David Thomas, and a laser shoot.

Dance the night away to the live band and disco and buy a ticket to win a diamond on the raffle.

Judy Glossop, the community fundraising manager for Lincolnshire said: "This will be a fabulous night in a beautiful and historic setting, with great entertainment, delicious food and non stop fun.

"I cannot think of a better way to celebrate the work of the Lincolnshire Marie Curie Nurses who provide high quality nursing, totally free, to give terminally ill people with cancer the choice of dying at home, supported by their families.

Marie Curie Nurses have cared for 375,000 patients and their families over the past 60 years – the equivalent of filling four Wembley Stadiums.

"Why not give me a call today to secure your tickets?"

Tickets are £45 which includes reception drinks on the Terrace, a three course dinner with wine followed by coffee and truffles and Midnight Munchies.

Dress: black tie.

For tickets call Judy Glossop on 01476 576000 or email judy.glossop@mariecurie.org.uk.
