Monday - SOUTH American musicians Caliche will perform at St James's Church, Louth, on Sunday, July 5, at 7.30pm.

The band, who have recently played at Lincoln's Drill Hall, will provide haunting sounds and subtle rhythms, playing instruments such as the charango, quena and siku.

The concert will feature Argentinian favourites of Misa Criolla and Navidad Nuestra, as well as some familiar and unfamiliar pieces from other South American countries.

The band will demonstrate and explain each of their instruments and their origins, and the chorus will be directed by Martin Pickering.

Tickets are priced at £10 and £7 unreserved, and are available on 01507 463410.
