Boston police are taping off public benches in the town as the latest initiative to stop the spread of coronavirus.

Town centre beat manager PC Newell came up with the idea and it was being implemented today after Boston Borough Council agreed to it.

Officers are now patrolling the streets as part of enforcing the strict movement measures brough in by PM Boris Johnson on Monday night.
