The happy couple.

THE wedding of Rebecca Louise Pullon and Peter Laborne took place on Saturday August 4 at 800 year old St James’ Church, Hemingford Grey, Cambs.

Rebecca, youngest daughter of Anthony and Carol Pullon, was educated at Skegness Grammar School and Northampton University and works for Norbook laboratories as an animal health product manager.

Peter, only son of Margaret and Malcolm Laborn, was educated in Cambridge and works as a web designer in Cambridge.

Officiating clergyman was Reverend Peter Henry Cunliffe and the bride was given away by her father and wore a Benjamin Roberts Gown; a stunning floating Grecian pure white Chiffon Gown with draping down the front and sprinkles of crystal beads. The dress featured a double train with crystal beads and the veil was decorated with Swarovski diamonds with a matching crystal tiara.

In attendence were the bride’s sister, Sarah Lilley, the bride’s niece, Grace Lilley, as flower girl, Michelle Sparkes, groom’s sister and Zara Sparkes, as flower girl. She is the groom’s niece.

The bridesmaids wore full length strapless satin dresses in ‘Cadbury’ purple colour. The flower girls wore crystal white satin dresses with cap sleeves and matching sashes.

The bride and bridesmaids’ bouquets were showers of white roses, freesia, gyp and greenery, studded with purple pins, ribbon and diamante pins.

The flower girls each carried small posy baskets with matching flowers and purple ribbon.

Best men were Ian Reese-Manley and Carl Bonwick, friends of the bride and groom. Ushers were: Matt Foggo, James Radley, and Martin Leader also friends of both bride and groom.

The reception was held at the Cambridge Belfrey Hotel in Cambourne, near Cambridge, and the couple will spend their honeymoon in Aruba, the caribbean.
