A SKEGNESS couple’s daughter has tied the knot.

Claire Louise Schubert, of North Hykeham, and Jonathan Wade, also of North Hykeham, were married at Belton Woods Hotel in Grantham recently.

Claire is the daughter of Mr and Mrs K. A. Posey of Beacon Way, Skegness.

Jonathan is the only son of Raymond and Lorna Wade of North Hykeham.

The bride was given away by her father, Keith Posey.

The bride’s dress was by Maggie Sottero. It was an A-line gown with halter neckline and corset closure, elegant in glistening chantilly lace, an alluring halter nekcline with scalloped edging and a glamorous bead-encrusted bodice.

The best men were Louis Wade and Jack Schubert.

The reception was held in the Belton Woods Hotel in Grantham.

The happy couple honeymooned at the Atlantica Bay Hotel in Limassol, Cyprus.

The bride is a staff nurse at Lincoln County Hospital and the bridegroom is a civil servant.

“We were friends for a long period of time before falling in love and becoming partners,” said the happy couple when explaining how they met and found love.
