Plea to find missing pet dog
A DOG owner is asking for help from the public to find her missing pet dog lost in the Anderby Creek area.
Back in February, the family was on holiday in the area when their female whippet, known as Duchess, ran off.
Despite searches of the local area, dog wardens’ and organisations’ help, there has been no confirmed sightings of Duchess.
Owner Marie Close lives in Derbyshire which is a three hour drive to Anderby, so she is relying on the kindness of the public to help find her pet.
Despite returning as often as she can to look for her and a Facebook group with more than 300 followers, help is still needed in and around the area.
Duchess is black with a white flash on her chest, she is described as a gentle dog with a nervous personality.
A cash reward has been offered for her safe return, please call 078155 00306, 0845 6256211 or 07414 932001 with any information regarding Duchess, even possible sightings.
