Abandoned cat appeal

The abandoned cat.

SKEGNESS Cats Protection have appealed for information about a cat which was abandoned in a cat carrier at a bus stop on Wainfleet Road, Skegness on the morning of Friday, September 28.

The cat is a large well looked after tortoiseshell female and is very friendly.

Originally taken to Fenwold Vets, she is now in the care of Cats Protection.

Their spokesperson, Anne Stocks, said: “This cat is so distinctive looking that someone out there must recognise her or have information about where she has come from.

“It is obvious that she has been someone’s much loved pet and so the reason for her being abandoned is a mystery.”

If anyone has any information you can contact Cats Protection on 0845 260 1383. The cat will be put up for adoption after 14 days if no one comes forward to claim her.
