Obituary: Jane Dring
MUCH-loved model car museum owner, Jane Dring, has died suddenly at the age of 62.
Jane, who helped run On Your Marques in Thrumber Marsh Lane, Mumby with her husband, Chris, suffered a brain haemorrhage at home last Tuesday.
She was admitted to Boston’s Pilgrim Hospital where she passed away peacefully on Thursday morning.
Jane was also well known to Lincolnshire residents in her work as a senior social worker with Lincolnshire County Council. She helped raise thousands of pounds by organising the annual ‘Lives Aid’ village fete in Mumby, supporting the local L.I.V.E.S first responders and Lincolnshire Air Ambulance.
As well as her husband, Chris, Jane also leaves her mother, 98-year old Dora Southam, who lived with Jane and Chris in Mumby.
Jane’s funeral service takes place at Alford Crematorium on Monday, July 23 at 3pm.
Jane requested that no flowers be sent, but donations be made to the Lincolnshire Air Ambulance via www.justgiving.com/janedring.
