WI given talk on hearing dogs

TOYNTON WI – Toynton WI had a very interesting talk at a recent meeting by June Spouncer of the Hearing Dogs for the Deaf.

The group learned how the dogs were chosen and then trained to care and look after their owners.

The February meeting had been cancelled due to the bad weather. The April meeting was also the WI’s annual meeting where Mrs Toulson was re-elected president and the committee was re-elected en bloc.

The committee supplied supper followed by a lot of chatter and laughter.

Toynton WI meet on the second Thursday of every month in Toynton Village Hall.
