WAINFLEET & District Horticultural Society members flocked to the Methodist Church Parlour on Wednesday, May 2 to hear speaker Freya De Rowse wax lyrical about her beekeeping experiences.

The talk was thoroughly entertaining and was followed by refreshments provided by the members.

The society’s next event is the annual plant sale at the Coronation Hall on Saturday, May 19 at 2pm.

Any donations of plants, cakes or raffle prizes will be much appreciated.
