HUNDLEBY FPS - Twenty-six members took advantage of a fine sunny day on Sunday, January 6 to enjoy a five-mile walk around Alford.
From the car park in the centre of town the group walked along Park Road to join tracks across fields leading to the bank of the Wold Grift Drain.
This was followed to the Saleby Road which led into the village.
From the farm yard at Saleby Manor field paths were walked to Thoresthorpe collecting quite a lot of mud on the way before crossing the lane to go uphill to a view point at High Bibers.
After pausing to take in the view to the coast it was on another muddy downhill stretch, across boggy pasture land to join the Mablethorpe Road.
A short stretch of easier walking led back to Park Road and into the town. Leaders for the day were Bill and Carol Evans.
