ANNIVERSARY - The Community Tea Room run by Burgh Church celebrates its 13th birthday on Monday, October 8.
The tea room will be open at 9.45am and cheques will be presented at 10am. Everyone is welcome. Refreshments are free that day.
COUNCIL - Burgh Town Council is reminding parents they can still arrange for collection of the free commemorative diamond jubilee badges for any children under 11 years and permanently resident in Burgh.
Collection is from the Council Chamber from Mondays to Wednesdays between 11am and 1pm and parents should bring proof of address for checking against the Electoral Register.
Silver versions of the commemorative badge are available for general sale at £2.50 each.

FUNK BUS - East Lindsey District Council’s Funk Bus will be visiting Burgh le Marsh throughout the month of October.
The bus is open to 11 to 19-year-olds, and brings its usual array of two PCs with internet, Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and more to Tinkers Green car park, Jackson’s Lane, on Wednesday, October 10, 17 and 24 from 4.15pm to 5.45pm and during half term on October 31 from 1pm to 3pm.
GIFT - The total at the moment for the Gift Day at Burgh Parish Church stands at £2,031.08.
Father Terry and the church members would like to thank all who gave so generously.
Of course it is not too late to hand your envelope in!

HARVEST - Harvest Thanksgiving at Burgh Parish Church is on Sunday, October 7.
There will be a Family Eucharist at 9.30am and Harvest Evensong at 6pm. Everyone is welcome.
HISTORY - Slides of the 20th century will be the subject at the History Group meeting next Monday, October 8 at 7.30pm in the tea room at the Windmill.
The speaker is Trevor Rogers.
LUNCH - The Burgh Parish Church Harvest Lunch is in the Village Hall on Saturday, October 6 from noon to 1.30pm.
The meal will be chicken casserole followed by sponge pudding and custard.
Tickets are £6 from John Panton, Pamela Marvin or Pat Capes. There will also be a raffle and vegetable stall.
SCHOOL - Burgh School holds its Harvest Service in Burgh Church on Friday, October 5 at 9.30am.
All are welcome. Any gifts of non perishable food will be divided between Witham Lodge and the Skegness Larder.
