Village News: Burgh le Marsh
FLOODING - The Town Council learned in a recent meeting of a new multi-agency approach to combating flood risk within the county.
Lincolnshire County Council member for Burgh le Marsh, Councillor Neil Cooper, noted that success of the approach in identifying problem areas and effective measures of address was critically dependent upon residents providing anecdotal evidence of flooding such as in homes and gardens, or gullies and drains.
To report any instances of flooding or concern contact LCC Councillor Neil Cooper directly on mobile telephone 07796 103922 or via email at cllrncooper@yahoo.co.uk, or via post to the Town Council at Council Chamber, Market Place, Burgh le Marsh, PE24 5JW.
HERITAGE - A reminder that the Heritage Centre, along with the windmill, are open every Sunday afternoon.
Volunteers for both venues will be very welcome.
TEA - The sun shone for the cream tea afternoon held in the garden of the Baptist church.
There were various stalls and a very happy atmosphere prevailed.
