Spilsby branch of Royal British Legion prepares for Poppy Appeal launch

The Spilsby branch of the Royal British Legion enjoyed a busy October meeting finalising arrangements for this year’s Poppy Appeal and Remembrance Parade.

Last year, the branch raised £8,945 and it hopes to raise equally as much this time.

The Poppy Launch will be held this Saturday, October 27 at the Aviation Museum at East Kirkby. Members wishing to attend should be seated by 11.30am.

A quiz trip was also arranged for members at the RAFFA club in Cleethorpes to be held next Friday (November 2). The coach will leave Spilsby at 6.30pm.
