New play equipment agreed

Two new pieces of play equipment should be available for use in Spilsby by mid-December, it has been announced.

Spilsby Town Council agreed at an extra-ordinary meeting on Wednesday to dip into its reserves to buy and install a new double slide and carousel at the recreation ground.

The decision had been deferred from the last full council meeting as several councillors expressed concerns about taking from the council’s limited reserves.
