Friskney woman rescued from trapped car after colliding with lamp post.

A FRISKNEY woman became trapped in her car when it collided with a lamp post in Boston yesterday.

The 50-year-old was driving her grey Perodua Myvi at around 4.40pm when it hit the central reservation near United Carpets and Beds.

Two fire and rescue crews from Boston helped to rescue the woman who was taken to Pilgrim Hospital but is not thought to have been hurt in the crash.

The street lamp was damaged and the road closed temporarily.
