Bratoft all set to mark the harvest

BRATOFT’S annual Harvest Celebrations are set to begin this Friday, October 5, with a thanksgiving service in the village Church at 7pm.

The Harvest Supper will then be held on Monday, October 8, in the Church Room, starting at 7pm.

The cost for a two course meal with tea or coffee is £5 . It will be followed by the auction of the produce.

Booking is not essential but tables can be reserved by contacting Mrs J Cram on 01754 766177.

Meanwhile, all pet owners and animal lovers are invited to the annual pet and animal service which will be held in the church on Sunday, October 7 at 2.30pm.

“Please bring along your pets, large or small to be blessed as part of the service,” said a spokesperson.
