ALFORD Silver Band enjoyed top billing at the Classical weekend at Alford Manor House, alongside the world famous Pasadena Roof Orchestra.
The band, led by professional trumpet player Steve Walker, played a huge range from Mozart and Rossini to Rodrigues and Purcell.
Band chairman Martin Briggs said: "People who don't listen to us regularly are often amazed at just how versatile we are.
"A lot of people have a very old-fashioned idea that brass bands only play marches. That's certainly not the case with us.
"We can turn our hand to almost any style of music. Because we concentrate on entertaining rather than competing against other bands in organised contests, we tend to be a lot more versatile."
The band was top of the bill on the Saturday while the Pasadena Roof Orchestra was top on Sunday.
Alford Silver Band has now started its summer programme.
