17/09/08 - Disability Lincs take part in exercise class
Published Date:

MEMBERS of Disability Lincs paid a very enjoyable visit to Station Sports Centre, Mablethorpe, to learn and take part in exercises provided by East Lindsey District Council trainers.
Everyone joined in and, after working up an appetite, had picnic tea.
During the activities Mike Burrell of Alford presented a cheque for a half-share in the money he had raised by walking many miles along the south coast during most of July. He is now known to members as Blackfoot due to the many blisters he suffered.
Two days later the annual coffee morning was held at St Wilfrid's Church Hall, Alford, opened by the vicar of the Alford Group of Parishes, the Rev Charles Keay.
Again a good time was had by all and the various stalls and raffle helped to swell the funds raised.
