14/05/08 - Pupils learn storytelling through dance

PUPILS at Alford Primary School are learning Indian dancing with Alpana Sengupta and working towards a public performance in Louth.

The 30 pupils will join with children from Grimoldby School to put on a production of Indian Kathak dance.
The year 3 and 4 pupils spend an hour and a half each week learning the routine and discovering how to tell a story through dance.

They will spend a day of rehearsals at the Riverhead Theatre before the final performance on Wednesday, July 2.
