The successful exchange gave the English students a chance to show off some of the attractions of the nearby counties as well as Lincolnshire.

Visits were made to Lincoln Castle, Gibraltar Point at Skegness for a scavenger hunt, the Tales of Robin Hood in Nottingham, and The Deep in Hull.

A visit was also made to Alford Five Sailed Windmill with the rest of the day spent in school. The pupils also enjoyed a disco at the school.

Teacher of English from Montpellier, Brigitte Otge stayed with Spendluffe French teacher Sandra Chaiels.
A return visit to France will be made next year.
