14/05/08 - Classic cars on show
THE classic car and bike day in Alford over bank holiday Sunday attracted admiring visitors to look at the glorious examples parked in the Market Place.
Among those on display were three Morris Minors, four MG midgets, a TR7 convertible, an Austen Atlantic, an Austin Atlantic, a Zepher estate, a Triumph Toledo, a Dalmer and an MGB, as well as others which visited for a while before going to the Scarecrow weekend at Tetford.
The event was organised by Alford Tourism and Events Committee, who also held a car boot sale in the early evening.
The best in the show was voted for by members of the public.
