UPDATE: Police seek driver after Mablethorpe collision

Police have confirmed that a driver involved in a collision in Mablethorpe ‘ran off’ after the incident, and has not yet been located.

Police confirmed this morning that nobody was injured after a collision in the High Street last night (Thursday).

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “A car collided with a parked car at 7.42pm at this location. No one was injured.”

Motorists were advised to avoid the area or re-route via Golf Road while the incident was being dealt with by the emergency services.

Later this morning, the police spokesman added that they have not yet located the driver.

Anyone with information should call 101 and quote incident number 388 of February 25.
