Hide AdPat was presented with the medal at the Royal Albert Hall, London, earlier this month.
The presentation was made in one of the boxes in the auditorium by Royal Marines Corps Regimental Sergeant Major, the Senior RSM, WO1 (RSM) PS Gilbey RM.
Pat’s military service has meant so much to him and he has taken part in many events since the war, meeting and helping his colleagues and telling people of the life of a commando.
