Ahead of the funeral for Prince Philip, Market Rasen’s Deputy Mayor, Coun Stephen Bunney laid a wreath in the town’s market place.

Ahead of the funeral for Prince Philip, Market Rasen’s Deputy Mayor, Coun Stephen Bunney laid a wreath in the town’s market place.

Coun Bunney said: “This is a small way to mark the passing of The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, beautifully created by Wildflower & Willow.

“Prince Philip was an inspiration to us all, through his work in conservation, engineering and encouraging youth to prosper.

“Our condolences go to The Queen and all the Royal Family.”

Following the Duke’s funeral, the wreath will be moved to the town’s war memorial.
