Bonfire spreads to hedge and house at Potterhanworth

Firefighters were called to a garden fire which spread to a house at Potterhanworth this afternoon (Thursday).

The incident on Moor Lane was reported at 2.25pm when it is believed embers from a bonfire spread to hedging.

The conifer hedging was damaged along with part of the soffits and fascia of the house.

Crews from Metheringham and Lincoln attended to put out the flames.
