NOTTS County Council has repeated a call for more investment in the Midland Main Line rail route from Nottingham to London.
It wants the Government to invest £200m in the line to bring a boost to the local economy - reducing journey time from to less than 90 minutes.
The move comes after last week’s Queen’s Speech in which the government put back any decision on a proposed high speed rail link from London to Birmingham until after the next election.
