TEN YEARS AGO: National judo competition in Spilsby hailed a success

Senior and junior competitors took part in a national judo competition at the Lady Jane Franklin Sports Hall, in Spilsby, 10 years ago.

Contestants from across England and Wales were involved in the event, which saw Mayor of Spilsby Coun David Fleming present medals. The contest was declared a resounding success and it was hoped to make it a bi-annual event.
