Mablethorpe’s weekly market has been cancelled for the foreseeable future due to Tier 4 coronavirus restrictions, it has been revealed today (Monday).

The market, which takes place every Thursday, is usually run as a ‘half market’ with fewer stalls over the winter period.

However, the deputy town clerk said: “The Mablethorpe winter half market will not be going ahead this week and for the foreseeable future whilst we remain in Tier 4.

“We will keep any eye on developments and will update as things change.

“(There will be) no market in Mablethorpe at all for the foreseeable future, but we will keep it under review.”
