Arthur’s doodle helps create t-shirts for good causes
Emma Jacklin, who runs the award-winning children’s clothing brand ‘Oh Arthur’, told the Leader how her son Arthur - who celebrated his fifth birthday last month - decided to relieve some of the lockdown boredom by creating his very own t-shirt design, featuring a rainbow and his name underneath it.
When Emma shared her son’s design on social media and suggested that she could start selling personalised shirts (featuring the name of the customer’s child underneath the rainbow) to raise money for good causes, she was inundated with dozens of positive replies.

Hide AdEmma has now started selling the t-shirts through her website, and has raised well over £1,000.
Customers will have the chance to decide which good causes will receive a share of the cash once the final total has been confirmed.
In a post on social media, Emma said: “Thank you for the incredible support.
“Arthur is absolutely over the moon. From tears yesterday when he realised nobody is coming to his birthday this year, this has helped put a big smile on his face. You’re all amazing!”
